| So, yeah. I'm here watching the Red Sox. It's about time they win a game! The indians have been killing them! Now it's time for a comeback! And I'm seeing it all here, on my 3 inch screen!

| I just got a new journal.
I love the first page in a new journal! I carefully pick it up,
admiring the color or pattern, eager to see what kind of stories its
pages will tell in the days and months to come. I carefully open it to
the first page, taking a moment to admire the fresh newness of its
blank pages. Then I slowly write the date in my very best handwriting.
Old books are, for now, forgotten. The ripped, used up pages of my old
journal are pushed into the past as I only focus with eager
anticipation on the pages ahead. A whole new chance to keep this book
new looking forever! Unfortunatly, I'm certain I'll mess up. There will
be misspelled words, sloppy writing, scribble marks, maybe some ripped
pages or water marks. But just as certain, I know I can always get a
new book and start over. The old book will still be there, sitting on
my shelf to remind me of the mistakes in my life, to remind me that no
one is perfect. I might take it out every now and then to read my old
entries, to marvel at how immature my words sounded, to see how far
I've come, to know I can still become a better writter.
How like the Christian life! Over and over we start fresh with a
new zeal for Christ, and over and over we fall. We approach life after
mistakes with a detemination to do better, and yet we still stumble. We
still have spiritual scribbles in the margins of our lives. And yet, as
assuredly as our mistakes is our forgiveness, poured out yet again, and
already forgiven because of the blood of our great LORD and Saviour,
Jesus Christ! Than, when we have fallen to our knees to thank God for
His great gift, He pulls out those old journals. We look through them
and laugh and cry at the memories. We marvel at how far we have come
and are reminded of how far we have yet to go. And yet, when we see how
often we have needed to start a new journal, and how often we are
allowed to, how can we help but cry out to God, "Holy, Holy, Holy is
the LORD God Almighty!" Let us remember today that we only stand in His
sight because of His amazing grace, without which we would never have
even started to write! | | |

| So, I was really busy yesterday, so I didn't get a chance to post that.
However, officially, as of 1:03 yesterday morning, I am 20 years old!!!
Wow! It's kind of a weird age, not quite grown up, (21) but not in the
"teen" years any more. So, yeah, I'm getting old!!
Oh yeah, I just watched this amazing movie the other night. It's called
"The Last Sin Eater". If you haven't seen it, you should! It's amazing!
and very Christian. It made me cry, and very few movies can do that!

| So, it's been a while, guess it's time for an update!
Let's see, last time I posted, I had an awesome job where I was
watching 2 little girls 4 days a week. Unfortunatly, the family ran
into financial troubles and in mid-March, I lost that job. It is
incredibly hard to find a job this time of year! So, not being able to
find a nanny job, I looked elsewhere and found a different job which I
start today. I am going to be a waitress at Friendly's. I have never
been a waitress before and am pretty excited about it!
In other news, Today my mom and brother Josh leave for Bosnia. They are
going to run a homeschool exhibit hall, the first ever in Europe. It
will be to help support European missionaries and nationals. It won't
be very big, and there will only be a few people attending, but it's a
great first step! They will also be visiting an area church to help
support them. Please pray for them as it's the first time either of
them has been to a country other than in North or South America!
So, now that you know what's been going on in my life, let me just add
that the weather here has been GORGEOUS!! I think Spring/Summer has
finally decided to join the rest of the world! It's been in the 80's
all week and the trees are budding, the grass is green-ing, the flowers
are blooming, and my kitties spend all day in front of an open window!
Yes, Winter is finally over!
